Additionally, the replaceable MDF sacrificial center insert serves as a backer to prevent blowout during drilling, while the integral rule provides a visual scale to assist with fence positioning and alignment.

The extrusion aluminum fence features adjustable MDF faces, allowing you to straddle large Forstner bits and sanding spindles. The included flip-down stop ensures accurate and repeatable holes, while the low-profile dust port minimizes interference with the drill press column, retaining up to 3" more throat depth over typical dust ports. The dust port angles up and away, keeping the hose from impeding the movement of the fence on the table.

The upward-facing T-track on the fence enables the addition of the included flip stop and other optional accessories, further enhancing the versatility of this setup.

Compatibility-wise, the front edge of the cast iron table on your drill press can project 9" to 18" from the drill press column, and the width of the cast iron table can range from 6" to 20".
